I saw this historic emblem on a flour sack used as a seat cover for a 1928 Model A displayed at The Old Car Club of Gallipolis 34rd Annual Car Show. . I remember seeing the emblem on grocery items during my grade school years. I dimly remember articles in the Weekly Reader that we read in 5th grade. Here's an excerpt from a fascinating Wikipedia article: "All companies that accepted President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Re-employment Agreement or a special Code of Fair Competition were permitted to display a poster showing the Blue Eagle together with the announcement, "NRA Member.
