Summary edit

Description

A CAN-struction challenge was one of the featured events at NSF as part of its participation in Feds Feed Families, a federal agency-wide campaign to fight hunger. Volunteer teams designed and built structures out of food donations using the theme, “Knock Out Hunger.” NSF’s Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO) team created “CAN-a-bunga for BIO!” The entry required 324 cans to construct and was voted the third-place winner.
