Kulturlandschaft Schafweide; die Eichhalde ist eine der wertvollsten Heiden (Magerrasen, nährstoffarme, saure Böden) im gesamten Bereich der Schwäbischen Alb, u.a. wegen Vorkommen in ganz Mitteleuropa seltener Pflanzen. Wegen heute knapper, unzureichender Schafsbeweidung schon stark verbuscht. English: Eichhalde; Bissinger, nature reserve at the northern border of the Swabian Alb. Eichhalde is one of the most valiable heaths of all of the Swabian Alb. There are plants, which are rare and endangered species in Central Europe. As nowadays sheep grazing almost vanished, bushes and trees are taking over. |
