Description
Deutsch: U-Bahnhof Broad Channel an der IND Rockaway Line. Er gehört zu den wenigen ebenerdigen Stationen und liegt noch dazu auf einer gleichnamigen Insel in der Jamaica-Bucht. Typisch für einen New Yorker U-Bahnhof an der Peripherie sind jedoch die zwei hölzernen Seitenbahnsteige mit Windschutz aus weißem Wellblech.
English: Broad Channel Station at the IND Rockaway Line. Besides of being one of the few ground level stations, it is located on an island with the same name in Jamaica Bay. Typical features of outlying stations are two wooden side platforms with windshields made of white corrugated metal sheets behind.
