Description
日本語: 南海電鉄2202系電車。高野線岸里玉出～汐見橋の区間を走る支線「汐見橋線（ただし、高野線の一部として運行）」仕様。（2020年10月　Mr.ちゅらさん (talk)が汐見橋駅にて撮影）
南海高野線の公式な起点駅は汐見橋駅であり、1985年以前はここから岸ノ里駅を経由して極楽橋駅（高野山）方面へ向けた直通列車が存在していたが、利便性の観点などから高野山方面の特急など優等列車を含め、多くは難波駅（南海本線）からの乗り入れが多かった。
しかし、1985年に大阪市による立体交差事業の実施により、岸ノ里駅で線路が分断されたため極楽橋駅方面への直通列車が消滅し、汐見橋～岸ノ里間は区間運転のみの汐見橋支線となり、極楽橋方面へは難波駅直通のみとなった。また岸ノ里駅はわずか400mほどのところにあった玉出駅と、駅舎と周辺区間の高架化に伴い、1993年に統合され、岸里玉出駅となり今日にいたる。
