Description The Great Hall of the National Railway Museum in York, photographed from the top of the historic passenger footbridge display (image) looking roughly south. The main entrance to the hall is to the right, opposite Rocket (yellow) and Mallard (blue). The workshop balcony is reached from the small door in the centre at the top of the stairs (the three rail roads in the workshop are behind the shutter doors to the left). Entry to the Flying Scotsman story exhibit and NRM warehouse is accessed via the walkway to the far left.
