National Theatre Built in 1890-1895. Planned by Adolf Láng and Antal Steinhardt. Local grade listed. Wingless Genius Zinn statue on dome by György Kiss /1852/ Busts on facade: Ferenc Erkel, Gergely Csiky, Ede Szigligeti, Károly Kisfaludy and Mihály Vörösmarty (probably György Kiss /1852/ works). In middle under three people statue group in the tympanum is 'Diana hunting' ceramic relief, in between columns allegorical female Zsolnay ceramic statues. Local grade listed building - Színház Square, Belváros (Inner City) neighborhood, Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary.

Nemzeti Színház. Az 1895-re megépült színház történeti, építészeti értékkel, városképi jelentőséggel bír. A századfordulós Pécs emblematikus épülete. Beépítés: Építéskori (1895-1912.) beépítés és telepítési mód. Lang Adolf és Steinhardt Antal által tervezte, Schlauch Imre cége kivitelezte. - főpárkányok, pilaszterek, oszlopok, fríz, timpanon, erkélyek kőkonzoljai és mellvédjei, felületi tagolások és felületképzések, sávozás, hullámos-volutás, oromzatok, attikafalak és mellvédek, faragott kődíszek, szobrok és reliefek, emléktáblák, díszműbádogozási elemek, stb.). Építéskori külső nyílászárók és vasrácsaik. A főhomlokzati hármas szoborcsoport alatt, a Diana vadászata című timpanon-dombormű található, ezek és valamint az emeleti oszlopok közti allegorikus nőalakok pirogránitból készültek. A 'Kamaraszínház felőli oldal plasztikus burkolatú fal' Schrammel Imre és Fürtös György pirogránit alkotása 1986-ból. Az épület Pécs Megyei Jogú Város Önkormányzata Közgyűlésének 5/2019. (I.29.) önkormányzati rendelete alapján,-jegyzékszám HVEÉ – 075, helyrajziszám 17523 Király utca 16.! címen,-helyi védett.
