She wears a patterned shirt, several beaded necklaces, and a blanket over her lap. She is sitting on an animal pelt inside an adobe dwelling. A newspaper article is tacked to the wall at left near a rough wooden pole. A large wood or metal case or stove sits near the wooden door at right.
