Description
English: Adm. Samuel J. Locklear III, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, lays a wreath in honor of the Americans that lost their lives during WWII at the Rhone American National Cemetery during a Memorial Day ceremony in Draguignan, France. During the ceremony, Locklear laid a wreath and gave a speech to honor the 861 Americans, most of whom lost their lives in the liberation of southern France in August 1944 and are buried at the cemetery.
