Summary edit

Description
English: View of the nave and altar of the Church of Christ the King, Sophiatown, Johannesburg. This picture was taken in 1972 when the church was derelict, the Sophiatown population having been forcibly removed in 1955 under South Africa's Apartheid regime. Trevor Huddleston, a missionary based at the Church of Christ the King, was one of the leaders of the opposition to the removals.
