Español: En la teoría de Mie, la componente del campo eléctrico esparcido por una esfera iluminada por una onda plana correspondiente al coeficiente a_n de se asocial al multipolo eléctrico de orden n+1 y éste está determinado por el armónico esférico vectorial N_e1n.
En la figura el código de color representa la norma del campo eléctrico, siendo azul el valor mínimo y rojo el máximo.
