Summary edit
DescriptionNechung monastery.jpg | This is an image of Nechung Monastery located near the Tibetan Parliament in Exile and the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamshala, India. The original Nechung Dorje Drayangling Monastery was located 4 miles west of Lhasa. That monastery was of historical significance because it was the seat of "Nechung", the State Oracle of Tibet. Unfortunately this monastery was destroyed during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Nechung Monks who escaped from Tibet helped in building the Nechung Monastery in India. | ||
