English: Needs Ore point from Inchmery Shore. The tall pines are just east of Needs Ore cottages (whose chimneys can just be made out). The mudflats of the North Solent nature reserve and the Beaulieu River lie in between the point and the photographer's location. To get a closer look at this grid square, the general public can obtain a birdwatching "day permit" from the Beaulieu Estate office, costing £3 at the time of writing. |
