Title
Neolithic to Bronze Age Flint Scraper
Description
English: A complete flint end scraper of late Neolithic to early Bronze Age date 2500 BC – 1500 BC).

The scraper is sub-ovoidal in plan. It has been manufactured on a large secondary flint flake and has a striking platform at the distal end. On the ventral surface at the proximal end there is a pronounced bulb of percussion with associated percussion scars. The remaining surface is relatively flat and does not possess any waved ripples. The dorsal surface has several large removals with some cortex surviving which is a pale buff colour. The distal end of the dorsal surface has abrupt and stepped retouch. This retouch extends along one of the lateral side but becomes short and semi-abrupt and terminates with a small concave steep short removal.

The knapped surfaces have a cream and light grey mottled surface.
