Description
Nederlands: Gedeeltelijk Frans- en Nederlandstalige Kadasterkaart uit 1812-1819 van het centrale deel van de Groote Drooggemaakte Polder bij Stompwijk (Z.-Holland). Rechtsboven is de molendriegang te zien die de polder bemaalde. Deze molens werden gesloopt nadat in 1882 stoomgemaal "De Volharding" was gebouwd. Linksonder is een deel van de bebouwing van Wilsveen zichtbaar. De tekst op de kaart luidt: Tekst rechtsonder: (Doorgestreept: SECTION D dite Driemanspolder de la Commune de LEIDSCHENDAM) Commencé le 20 Juin et achevé le 26 Juillet 1812. Levé par le Sousigné Géomêtre Secondaire H. Visscher. (Tekst midden onder:) Gemeente Stompwijk Sectie D van Numero 1 tot 319 genaamd Driemans Polder. Eerste Blad. Opgemeten in den Jare 1812 door den Landmeter der Tweede Klasse H. Visscher. Herzien en Gecompleteerd in den Jare 1819 door mij, Landmeter der Eerste Klasse van het Kadaster W.J. van Campen. gecarteerd naar de schaal van 1 à 2500 Ellen. NB: De naam Driemanspolder op de kaart is geen fout: zo heette de kadastrale sectie waaronder de Groote Drooggemaakte Polder viel.
English: Cadastral map from 1812-1819 with annotations in Dutch and French of the central part of the Large Reclaimed Polder (Groote Drooggemaakte Polder), located at Stompwijk (Province South Holland, Netherlands). In the upper right hand corner the three wind mills used for draining the polder are shown. These mills were demolished after a pumping station powered by a steam engine took over in 1882. In the bottom left hand corner a part of the hamlet of Wilsveen is visible.
