Description
English: Neuadd Lisburne Lisburne Hall is the village hall of Llanafan and was built in 1930. It is named after the Earls of Lisburne who owned the nearby Trawsgoed mansion. It was undergoing a major refurbishment at the time the picture was taken. Additional Information submitted by John Vaughan: The Lisburne Hall, Llanafan, has recently been subject to a repair and restoration scheme with Welsh Assembly funding. The site of the hall was donated to the local community by the 7th Earl of Lisburne in 1929 and the present Earl owns the nearby primary school and property adjoining Trawsgoed mansion which was converted into apartments in 1997-98.
