Description

New Orleans, Louisiana, 1940.

Original caption: "Old buildings. New Orleans, Louisiana"

Notes: Visible businesses include Asher Laundry, Tom's Bar, Cadillac Barber Shop.

Sign reads "Franklin 1492", presumably a telephone number. Visible street addresses in full res 326 and 326 & 1/2.
My first guess is 300 block of N. Rampart Street, as Wolcott took a number of other photos in that era this year.
