New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina:

Mud and debris is left in the wake of the retreating floodwaters near the 17th Street Canal breach while a distinct water line is clearly evident on several of the remaining buildings.

View is to northeast from the canal breach.

At the front right of the image, pieces of the collapsed concrete floodwall can be seeen sticking from the temporary breach levee fill.
