Description
English: The 18th Transportation Company, composed of 21 Sikorsky H-34s, is transported to Bremerhaven, West Germany, aboard the aircraft carrier "Corregidor." From Bremerhaven, these same helicopters fly to Oberschleissheim, a long cross-country flight. The flying windmills are capable of reaching altitudes of over 11,000 feet, and of speeds exceeding 100 knots. They are part of the new Army program which calls for a flexible fighting force.
