| Description |
English: New Tesco Extra. The flats on Brown Street in the background enjoyed an all too brief view of the River Clyde and Ben Lomond after the shipyard sheds were demolished, only to have the biggest Tesco store in Britain built on the same spot a few months later.
The church is the West Church of Scotland which is now flats and to the right of the church is "The Plaza" a former cinema which is now a bingo hall. Current name unknown, but it will always be The Plaza to Portonians. See the completed building here 736401. |
