Madison Avenue Reformed Church. These Societies have made a total of 7,804 pieces. Attention is called to the efficient work of the Lexington AvenueBranch Christmas Fund Committee in their efforts to please the childrenand cheer the women during that Season of Joy. Mrs. M. B. Stoddart, the Chairman, reports as follows: The Christinas Committee provided gifts for 137 children and 98grown persons. There was a large tree in the Chapel, which was also 22

decorated with Christmas greens, and the nurses took pleasure in trim-ming five small trees in the babies wards. Through the kindness ofMrs. Kingsland, there was a Christmas card for every one at the break-fast table. After the distribution of gifts in the morning, a bountifuldinner of turkey and mince pie was provided, and the day closed with atreat of ice cream and an entertainment with a Victor phonograph inthe evening. Many gifts have been presented to this Branch during this year andhave all been advantageously used there. The House Committeeexpresses its gratitude to each of the donors.
