English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Construction of the locks complex with pound lock on the west side of Paramaribo. It is build as part of the Suriname ten-year plan. The lock personnel receives instructions on how to operate the lock doors. S.R. de Miranda, Minister of Public Works and Transport, and Severinus D. Emanuels, Prime Minister of Suriname, view a traffic bridge across the Saramacca Channel near the lock.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Bouw van een sluizencomplex met schutsluis ten westen van Paramaribo, als onderdeel van het Surinaamse tienjarenplan. Het sluispersoneel krijgt instructie in de bediening van de sluisdeuren en S.R. de Miranda, minister van Openbare Werken en Verkeer, en Severinus D. Emanuels, minister-president van Suriname, bezichtigen bij de sluis een verkeersbrug over het Saramaccakanaal. |
