DescriptionNikko Toshogu Archer M3209.jpg |
English: Archer in niche in outer facade of Yomeimon, the most famous gate at Toshogu, Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the view from the middle courtyard looking up and in through the gate. The inner courtyard, the Karamon, the Haiden, and the Honden lie beyond the Yomeimon. The Karamon is visible beyond the uniformed man. I took the photo and contribute the file to the public domain. However, people and institutions may retain rights to images in it. |
