Asyl

Hohe Klippen, ringsgeschlossen,
Wenig kümmerliche Föhren,
Trübe flüsternde Genossen,
Die hier keinen Vogel hören;

Nichts vom freudigen Gesange
In den schönen Frühlingszeiten;
Geiern wird es hier zu bange,
In so dunkeln Einsamkeiten.

Weiches Moos am Felsgesteine,
Schwellend scheint es zu begehren:
Komm, o Wolke, weine, weine
Mir zu die geheimen Zähren!
