Norsk bokmål: Fridtjof Nansen (til venstre) og Otto Neumann Knoph Sverdrup på ski trekker en kjelke. De poserer i fotografens atelier. Fordi Fridtjof Nansen selv hadde tatt alle fotografier under Grønlandsekspedisjonen, måtte det rekonstrueres illustrasjoner som viste Fridtjof Nansen. i aktivitet. Disse skulle brukes i boken om ferden over Grønland.
English: Fridtjof Nansen (to the left) and Otto Neumann Knoph Sverdrup pulling a sledge. They are posing in the photographers studio. Because he himself had taken all the photos during the Greenland Expedition, illustrations that showed Fridtjof Nansen in action had to be reconstructed. These were to be used in the book about the crossing of Greenland.

Weil Fridtjof Nansen selbst alle fotografien während der Grönlandexpedition gemacht hat, mussten Illustrationen, die Fridtjof Nansen in Aktivität zeigten, rekonstruiert werden. Diese sollten im Buch über den Marsch über Grönland verwendet werden.
