Norsk bokmål: Bryggen på den lave vestbredden av Volga (Kalmytski Bazar nord for Astrakhan). Ett av bildene fra reisen gjennom Georgia i perioden 3 juli til 14 juli 1925. Fridtjof Nansen ble invitert av republikkens president som ba ham om å reise rundt for å undersøke forholdene i landet slik at han kunne gi råd om utviklingsmulighetene.
English: The pier on the low west bank of the Volga (Kalmytski Bazar north of Astrakhan). One of the pictures from the journey through Georgia during the period July 3 to July 14, 1925. Fridtjof Nansen was invited by the president of the republic to travel around and look at the conditions in the country, so that he could give advice on the possibilities for development.
Deutsch: Brücke am niederen linken Ufer der Wolga (Kalmytski Basar nördlich von Astrakhan). Eines der Bilder von der Reise durch Georgien im Zeitraum 3. Juli bis 14. Juli 1925.
