Summary edit

Description
English: A journal of the 1st Cavalry Division artillery command records an August 29, 1950, communication (entry at "1200" beginning "Fr Capt Frohardt") noting that division commander Maj. Gen. Hobart R. Gay (code name "Saber 6") "orders all refugees to be fired on." This was a month after his division's 7th Cavalry Regiment carried out the mass killing of South Korean refugees at No Gun Ri. The existence of this and many similar documents showing a policy and practice of indiscriminate civilian killings was not disclosed in the Pentagon's 2001 No Gun Ri investigative report.
