Items 3-9 are all iron objects from a 9th-century Viking grave in Norway, and are all on loan from the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo. Accession numbers are all from that museum (referred to here as MCH-Oslo):

  • 4 - Spear; MCH-Oslo C7662
  • 5 - Scissors; MCH-Oslo C7663
  • 6 - Horse bit; MCH-Oslo C7664
  • 7 - Harness rattle; MCH-Oslo C7665-C7666
  • 8 - Harness fitting; MCH-Oslo C7667
  • 9 - Harness hook; MCH-Oslo C7666 according to wall text, could be a typo for C7668.
