English: Refueling a DHC-6 Twin Otter STOL aircraft of Bradley Air Services at a temporay gas station. The station on the moving pack ice was established in spring by the Canadian Polar Continental Shelf Project, Ottawa (PCSP, Dept. of Mines and Technical Surveys) to support several research expeditions on the Arctic ice pack. On April 16, 1990, this station was at 86°N, 76°43‘W. Lorenz.King@geogr.uni-giessen.de
Deutsch: DHC-6 Twin Otter der Bradley Air Services (STOL-Flugzeug) wird auf 86°N, 76°43‘W an dieser temporären “Tankstelle” auf dem Packeis des Arktischen Ozeans aufgetankt. Die Station wurde vom kanadischen Polar Continental Shelf Project (Dept. of Mines and Technical Surveys, Ottawa) errichtet, um mehrere Forschungsstationen auf dem arktischen Packeis logistisch zu unterstützen. 16.
