Description
English: The full-scale replica on its pedestal of the very first Great Western Railway locomotive, the 2-2-2 'North Star, which was built by Robert Stephenson. Photo taken on 25th July 1961 at Swindon Works. Diesel-Hydraulic Warships are in the background. The works had also just started on constructing the larger Western Class Diesel-Hydraulics as well.
