English: "This is a view of the northwest corner of High Street and Goodale Street. The Northern Hotel opened on 12/1/1878 as the Great Park Hotel and was demolished on 1/1/1957. A section of this facility was also known as the Goodale Hotel."
PD postcard, reverse side postmarked in 1913; see source page. "The Park Hotel, located on the northwest corner of North High Street and West Goodale Avenue. The address was 563 North High Street. The four story park Hotel opened on December 1 1878 on what is now the cap over I-670. I was also called the Northern Hotel and the Railway YMCA. Part of this building survived as the Goodale Hotel until demolition on January 1 1957." Demolished by S.G.
