Summary edit

Description
English: Norwood Hall, Norwood Green, Southall Built 1801-3 by Sir John Soane for the auctioneer and estate agent John Robins.

It was modified and extended by the Unwin family in the late nineteenth century.

The hall is presently undergoing conversion to a Sikh faith school.

The Gurdwara purchased the Grade II for £2.7 million in December 2004. It plans to restore the hall at a cost of £2 million and construct a new school building costing approx £9 million.

The school will have 20% of its 470 places available for children from a non-Sikh background. It will follow the National Curriculum and will give voluntary instruction in the Sikh religion and its ethical code of citizenship.
