| Description |
English: Nos 2 to 12, Windermere Road, Coulsdon. See 843823. A convenient passage to Smitham station ran between houses Nos. 8 and 10. Needless to say, this passage no longer exists and a long walk round to the other side of the station is necessary, after which, if you require an Up train (as most people do), the line has to be re-crossed by a new footbridge involving more stairs. Lifts installed in the footbridge some 18 months ago, have never worked to date (June 2008). |
