Summary edit

Description The parish church of St. Philip and Jacob. It was built in the 14th century as a threesided basilika. In the 18th century, the church was change into the baroque style and at the beginning og the 20th century, the ofrepart was decorated in the historicism style. In the sabctuary, the year 1520 was engraved in Arabic, Roman and Glagolitic numbers. In it is the tumbstone of the modrushal bishop Christoper, bishop Ivan K. Caballini, bishop Ivan K. Jezic and the canon Stjepan Mrzljak.

The Steeple was built at the beginning of the 20th century (1909.-1912.) on the area of the St. Fabian and Sebastian's church which was built in 1496 in one day as a promised church at the time of the plague in Novi. In 1656, the Frankapa's gave anantependij that is kept in the Novi museum.
