Description
English: Every year before the arrival of spring and the new year, a celebration is held in Kurdistan. In the local language, it is called Nowruz. In this ceremony, young boys and girls welcome the New Year with a group dance and lighting a fire. This picture shows Nowruz in one of the villages of Kurdistan.
