English: The German protestant hymn Nun danket alle Gott (English title: Now Thank We All Our God) by Martin Rinckart (1586–1649), here sung during a ecumenical festive service in the Roman Catholic St Agatha Parish Church (St.-Agatha-Pfarrkirche) in Mettingen, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The ecumenical festive service was the start of Mettingen's 925th anniversary celebration day.
Deutsch: Das traditionelle deutsche evangelische Kirchenlied Nun danket alle Gott von Martin Rinckart (1586–1649), hier gesungen während eines ökumenischen Festgottesdienstes in der römisch-katholischen Pfarrkirche St. Agatha in Mettingen, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Der Festgottesdienst bildete den Auftakt zur 925-Jahrfeier der Gemeinde Mettingen. Mit der Festgemeinde musizierten hierbei erstmals gemeinsam der Posaunenchor der evangelischen Kirchengemeinde, der Ki-Pop-Chor sowie die Junge Kantorei und der Kirchenchor der katholischen Pfarrgemeinde. |
