English: Observation Post (OP) San Juan, Baghdad, Iraq. The OP was used to interdict insurgents attempting to fire on aircraft approaching Baghdad International Airport. Company A, 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, Task Force 1-18 Infantry occupied the OP when photo was taken, they were also the last unit to occupy the post before it was closed in early 2007. |
