Summary edit

Description
English: Obelisk, Cocking Causeway. Inscription reads 'Free Trade, peace and goodwill among nations'. Erected to the free trade advocate Richard Cobden who was born to a struggling farming family in the area and eventually settled at Dunford House a mile from this obelisk. As yet I haven't been able to find a date for its erection.
