Description
Deutsch: Kameralstraße 8. Die sogenannte Pfalz, ursprünglich Wohnsitz der Herzöge von Teck-Oberndorf, später der Pfandherren der Stadt. Ab 1807 königlich württembergisches Kameralamt, von 1935 bis 1975 Heimatmuseum. Beherbergt heute eine Musikschule. Das Gebäude besteht in der heutigen Form seit 1766. Kurioserweise ist das Fachwerk nur am rechten Seitenflügel sichtbar, alle anderen Wände sind verputzt.
English: Kameralstraße 8. The so-called Pfalz, originally the residence of the Dukes of Teck-Oberndorf, later that of the town's Pfandherren (Pledge Lords). From 1807 royal Württemberg Kameralamt, from 1935 to 1975 local history museum. Today it houses a music school. The building has existed in its present form since 1766. Curiously, the half-timbering is only visible on this right side wing, all other walls are plastered.
