Description
Columbus celebrates 100 years as Ohio's capital city. To the left, the Railroad YMCA at 563 N. High St., with the Columbus Savings Bank at 561 N. High St. To the right, Troy Laundering at 548 N. High St. and the Unique Theatre at 558 N. High. The Railroad YMCA was originally the Great Park Hotel, which opened on December 1, 1878. Part of the building later became the Goodale Hotel. The building was located on the northwest corner of N. High St. and West Goodale St., which is now the cap over I-670. It was demolished January 1, 1957.
