English: Old County Road In common with a number of hill tracks in this area, this old county road is unsurfaced, and extensively used by trailbikes, mountain bikes, 4x4s and so on.
The heather-covered hill on the horizon is in SJ1436, and is part of a long ridge that runs eastwards from the northern end of the Berwyns range, and has a summit at about 563m. Oddly, its trig point is marked on the 1:25000 map as being at 561m. That's a bit unusual. |
