Summary edit

Description
English: Reconstruction of a flag of San Marino found in a document from 1465 as described by historian Carlo Malagola. He deduced, based on the information in the document (a receipt for the sell of certain taffeta for the flag), that it was composed of three vertical bands of "Giallo, Biancho, e alesandrino" (yellow, white and alesandrino color), and the symbol of the Republic painted on the middle white band.[1][2][3][4] The shade of the last stripe used is based on the description of historian Verter Casali, who stated the official colour alesandrino was closer to a bluish colour.

In general, it is better to use a good SVG version.
