Golden hour at the Grand Trunk Road (now NH19), somewhere in Gopi Ganj, between Allahabad and Varanasi. Viewed trough a bus window. Political ad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) logo - lotus flower. Further in the street - interesting electrical installation. "The 2014 general elections marked a shift in electioneering strategy, with the use of data and digital platforms occupying a central role. Experts expect that the upcoming 2019 elections will rely even more heavily on social media than those in 2014, with video content playing an even more prominent part." (https://ourdataourselves.tacticaltech.org/posts/overview-india/) In Gopi Ganj however, traditional means of political agitation have still a strong position. In photography, the en:golden hour is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. |
