Summary edit

Description
English: A one-sided genius (original). Fig. Ill represents the face of a one-sided genius, a mechanic who has produced a number of useful inventions. His hobby is perpetual motion. There are times when he has complete loss of memory. On one of these occasions he demanded his salary from the wife of the owner of the shop in which he was employed. Because she refused, he struck her on the head. For this offense he was sent to the hospital for the criminal insane. The eyes are small and sunken. There is nasal stenosis with marked arrest of the face and upper jaw, and a partial V-shaped dental arch. The ears stand out from the head. The lower jaw is normal.
