Summary edit
DescriptionOne-time Lancaster Canal, Preston - geograph.org.uk - 948412.jpg |
English: One-time Lancaster Canal, Preston The two blue brick, stone-capped pillars are all that remain of the bridge that carried Fylde Road over the Lancaster Canal in north Preston. In the foreground and for a couple of hundred yards behind the photographer the canal has been infilled but remains as a green space between houses. Beyond the road it curved left following the trees. The present southern terminus of the canal is about 400 yards distant. |
