Description
English: Shows inset head-and-shoulder portraits of Mrs Brown Potter and Mr Kyrle Bellew, who played Rosalind and Orlando in "As you like it", in mid-January 1897. The portraits are from photographs by Falk. Around are scenes of stars in the shy and the balcony scene from "Romeo and Juliet". Down the sides of the cover are advertisements for Sterling Stainless Hosiery (on sale at Staerker and Fischer), and Read Brothers, jewellers.

Inscriptions: Inscribed - Recto - beneath image: Star and Graphic Print, Shortland Street, Auckland.
