DescriptionOpico Comb Harrow - geograph.org.uk - 845627.jpg |
English: Case IH 5150 Maxxum tractor with an Opico pneumatic seeder (Hatzenbichler/Variocast hopper seeder) and a comb harrow, exhibit at the 2008 Town & Country Fair, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain. A comb harrow is a multi-purpose tool used for breaking up soil and for weeding. Presumably the latter works at a stage when the crop plants are so small that there is a good chance the harrow tines will miss them.
