Description
Deutsch: Ehrenmal auf dem Straßburger Platz, 1880 nach dem Entwurf von Emil Hackländer (1830-1902) auf dem Neumarkt errichtet und 1928 auf den Straßburger Platz versetzt. Die ursprüngliche Skulptur der Germania wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg eingeschmolzen und nach 2000 durch die Skulptur „Die schützende Torsion“ ersetzt. Die Skulptur wurde nach einem Entwurf von Schülerinnen des Osnabrücker Ratsgymnasiums angefertigt.
