Description
English: "Belisar was born in 1902 and was owned by Count (Lensgreve) H. Rewentlow. In this work, the jockey is wearing the Count's colours and has just won the 'Pokalløobet', an important international race. The racecourse depicted here was on the Erimitage Plain just outside Copenhagen." Dimensions 124.5 x 162 cm. Signed Otto Bache 1907 (lower right).
