English: A 1969 Polish P-64 CZAK (9×18mm Makarov ) pistol, from the collections of the Swedish Army Museum. The pistol was gifted to General Stig Synnergren (1915-2004), Supreme Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces from 1970 to 1978. The gift was given at an official visit in Poland by General Synnergren on June 8, 1974. The pistol was donated to the Swedish Army Museum in 1978.
The pistol bears the inscription: Left side: ”Generalowi Stig Synnergren Szef Sztabu Generalnego Wojska Polskiego 8.06.1974” ”9 mm P-64” Right side: "SHO9686", "11", "1969" (Serial number, plant ID, year of manufacturing) |
